The Founding President of Facebook, Sean Parker, tied the knot with his fiancée, singer-songwriter Alexandra Lenas on Saturday. The extravagantly and lavish ceremony is said to have cost the couple a jaw-dropping £6.5 million. The Big Sur style wedding took place in front of 300 guests at the Ventana Inn, which is located in a secluded forest in California. Napster co-founder Sean Parker is said to be worth around £1.3 billion, and didn’t spare any expenses when it came to his big day. The couple, who got engaged in 2011, had one of the most expensive celebrity weddings ever. The area around the boutique hideaway hotel was reported turned into what looked like a scene from the Lord Of The Rings film set, fit with waterfalls and ancient ruins. Guests were even provided with costumes designed by the film’s costume designer Ngila Dickson. The couple’s six month old baby daughter called Winter Victoria Parker was also wearing an outfit designed by the Oscar winning designer.
Sean, 33, laid rumours of a LOTR-themed wedding to rest, posting on his Facebook page: "Sorry to disappoint those of you who were looking forward to dressing up in medieval garb, but the wardrobe designs we've made for our guests are essentially modern," he wrote. This is NOT a theme wedding and there will be nothing "medieval" about it.”
The first photo from the wedding showed the bride and groom in a passionate embrace in a magical woodland setting, with the mum-of-one wearing a beautiful golden embellished wedding dress.
